3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified
- Additional work discovered during a project may incur extra charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing for materials due to market fluctuations
- A deposit may be required for larger projects before work commences
4. Booking and Appointments
- Appointments are scheduled based on availability and are confirmed via phone, email, or SMS
- We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling
- Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a call-out charge
- We aim to arrive within the scheduled time window but may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances
- Emergency services are available 24/7 and may carry additional charges outside normal working hours
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed
- We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and bank transfers
- For larger projects, staged payments may be arranged
- Late payments may incur interest charges at 4% above the Bank of England base rate
- We reserve the right to withhold certification documents until payment is received in full
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion
- Materials and products carry manufacturer warranties where applicable
- Our guarantee covers defects in workmanship but not damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third-party interference
- Warranty claims must be reported in writing within the guarantee period
- We will rectify any covered defects at no additional charge
7. Customer Responsibilities
As our customer, you agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Ensure the property is accessible at the agreed appointment time
- Disclose any known issues or hazards that may affect the work
- Obtain any necessary permissions or consents for the work (e.g., landlord approval)
- Clear the work area of personal belongings and valuables
- Make arrangements for children and pets during the work
8. Health and Safety
We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards:
- All work complies with current UK electrical regulations (BS 7671)
- Our electricians carry appropriate PPE and safety equipment
- Risk assessments are conducted for all projects
- We maintain comprehensive public liability insurance
- Appropriate electrical certificates are provided upon completion
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of the work undertaken
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We are not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults not related to our work
- Our liability does not extend to damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be limited
10. Complaints Procedure
We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly:
- Please contact us immediately if you are not satisfied with our service
- Complaints should be made in writing within 14 days of work completion
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days
- We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 working days
- If we cannot resolve the issue, you may refer the matter to an independent ombudsman
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of ElectricianPro and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
12. Changes to Terms
